RACHEL TO BECOME AMBASSADOR FOR CAUDWELL CHILDREN’S DESTINATION DREAMS

RACHEL TO BECOME AMBASSADOR FOR CAUDWELL CHILDREN’S DESTINATION DREAMS

As many of you know, I’ve supported Caudwell Children for a number of years and have regularly attended their annual Butterfly Balls. I became a Goodwill Ambassador of the charity when I performed at one of the first Balls that they organised, but I feel privileged to have now been asked to be an Official Ambassador for one of their core activities, Destination Dreams.

Open

Caudwell Children is an amazing charity that provide support, equipment, therapies and treatment to disabled children and their families across the UK, who wouldn’t otherwise be able to afford the help that they need.

I recently came back from the Destination Dreams trip 2014, which is an annual trip delivered by the charity for children fighting life threatening and life limiting illnesses. The trip really does turn dreams into reality for the amazing families that are able to go, taking the families and their children out to Disney World in Florida to enjoy some very special and much needed time together with the support of volunteers, medical experts and carers to ensure that all members of the family can enjoy their time there to the very max in the knowledge that they have the care and support they need.

Caudwell Children is unique as a single generous benefactor covers the charity’s annual management and administration costs so that donations go straight to the people who need it. I’ve been lucky enough to meet a number of the children and families that have benefitted from the help and support that Caudwell Children offers and have been completely humbled by the experiences that they’ve shared with me.

I hope you’ll  join me in supporting such a worthwhile cause; I can’t express how important Caudwell Children is to the people that they support. The charity team and volunteers that make this happen on a day-to-day basis have blown me away and I can’t wait to tell you more.
