I've visited GOSCH lots of times, often with S Club 7, to support the staff and patients at the hospital and whilst I'm told that it's been lovely for them to have us there it's actually been a privilege for me to be there.
The work that the hospital do for the patients and for their families is fantastic and the staff work so hard to make sure that during the difficult time that their patients stay with them, they are looked after and cared for to the best of their abilities. I've been on consecutive Christmases and, sadly, seen familiar faces of children undergoing sometimes life saving procedures and I'm reminded of how lucky we all are.
When Alex and I got married, I worked very closely with a wonderful couture dress maker to design and create my wedding dress, which began with trips out to Isreal for fittings and ended with a perfect day and dress for us.
Brides Magazine featured the process of the design in their magazine and I'm excited to be able to showcase it at their show alongside 20 of the world's most famous wedding dresses from Coco Rocha, Portia De Rossi and Joan Collins to Zara Phillips, Jemma Kidd and Natalia Vadianova and help to fundraise for the charity and I'll be popping down myself at some point to take a look around.
The exhibition runs from October 11-13th at Battersea Evolution, Battersea Park, London and you can buy tickets here www.bridestheshow.co.uk.
